Ken Armstrong, President and CEO of Westhaven Gold Corp. (TSX-V: WHN | OTCQB: WTHVF | FRA: 1W5), discusses the Shovelnose project in British Columbia, a high-grade resource of about 1 million ounces gold equivalent.
Dundee can earn a 60% project interest by spending up to $85 million. Westhaven would retain 40%, with no right of first refusal on its interest. Armstrong says the partnership is accelerating work: 37,000 metres of infill drilling are complete, exploration drilling is underway, and an updated resource estimate is expected in early 2027.
He also outlines plans for a pre-feasibility study in the second half of 2027 and a potential investment decision by the end of 2029.
