Spanish Mountain Gold Ltd. is focused on advancing its 100%-owned Spanish Mountain Gold Project, an emerging tier 1 gold project fast-tracking to a build decision by 2027. The project pre-feasibility study (May 10th, 2021) demonstrated a 20 ktpd ore processing operation with a mine life of 14 years, total production of 2.1 million gold ounces, year-round access and a new power line advancing. The company is developing a new vision for the project that will optimize scale, derisk the proposed mine and outline a more favourable permitting approach.
The project's larger potential scale, with over 225,000 m of drilling completed, is anticipated to provide greater efficiency, cost benefits, and a more compelling annual production profile. Its tier 1 jurisdiction is exposed to near-term production opportunities with a high degree of discovery and growth potential over a strike length of 10 kilometres of prospective gold mineralized host rocks in the Cariboo Gold District.
Spanish Mountain Gold Ltd. is conducting an integrated Whittle Enterprise Optimization to identify the highest potential value-added improvements while increasing the understanding of high-grade geologic controls and associated drill targets that could upgrade and expand the gold resource. The company is committed to leading community and Indigenous relations by leveraging technology and innovation to build the 'greenest' gold mine in Canada. Its Relentless Pursuit for Better Gold reflects a continuous drive to achieve optimal financial outcomes while prioritizing safety, minimizing environmental impact, and fostering meaningful sustainability for communities.
