25 years ago, Warren Irwin made a fortune going long Bre-X Minerals, and then shorting it once he was convinced the company was a fraud. Now, Irwin reflects on his experience with Bre-X, the biggest-ever mining scam, his thought process when he was buying and selling the shares, and his claim that the company’s head geologist may still be alive and got away with $27 million dollars.
