American Eagle Gold is focused on exploring its flagship property, Golden Gate. The property is strategically situated on the Cortez Trend in Nevada and borders Barrick’s Cortez Complex, hosting four multi-million ounce Carlin-type gold deposits (Pipeline, Cortez Hills, Goldrush and Fourmile). The 15 million ounce Goldrush mine is a mere 5km north of Golden Gate.
The Golden Gate Property shares the geological characteristics of the Carlin-type deposits next door, with a world-renowned geologist in charge of its exploration program. Golden Gate is one of the last remaining underexplored properties in this region, and a strategic drilling campaign has just begun.
