Graphite is the largest component of lithium-ion batteries while demand is estimated by Benchmark Mineral Intelligence to grow more than six-fold by 2035. Approximately 80% of global graphite supply comes from China while the US produces none. Canada has only one mine producing about 1% of global supply. Other sources include Madagascar, Mozambique and North Korea. In today’s politically charged world, far-flung supply chains are not the flavour of the day. Our aim is to discover, develop and monetize graphite resources in mining-friendly Quebec for the North American and West European battery industries. Our flagship graphite project, Tetepisca, is at the heart of the Tetepisca Graphite District in the Cote Nord Region of Quebec. It is a drive-in, drive-out mineral property located near an ultra-modern highway to the Port of Baie-Comeau, which provides easy access to North American and European gigafactories.
