Ur-Energy Inc. is advancing well installation and construction at its proven Lost Creek in-situ uranium mine in south-central Wyoming in preparation for a ramp up decision as market conditions improve. Production at the Lost Creek mine began in 2013 with 2.7M pounds of U3O8 produced to date with an U.S. industry leading recovery rate of 90%. Ur-Energy’s second in-situ project, Shirley Basin, has received all required major permits and can be constructed and operational within 18 months of a go decision. Global interest in nuclear energy is growing rapidly as nations recognize nuclear’s clean energy attributes and the need to become energy independent.
