Mid-Year 2020 Outlook – Mining Investing in a COVID-19 Impacted World

At the start of 2020, we were bullish on precious metals, and while we have been proven correct, we did not forecast the pandemic or the market dislocations that it has created. Taking this into account, we are updating our outlook. At the mid-year point, we are very bullish on gold and silver equities, and believe the rotation down market cap has already started. Additionally, dislocations between supply (still offline) and demand (coming back) has made us more bullish on base metals, particularly copper. For more industrial metals (PGMS, rare earths and battery metals), we are taking a more cautious approach as these likely require a return to normalcy before picking. Additionally, we continue to be bullish on uranium, as the pandemic has accelerated the anticipated supply deficit. Taking these factors into account we are updating our Top Picks (Page 3). For additional information, tune into our webcast on Monday, July 27th at 2:00pm EST, where our analysts will discuss our Mid-Year 2020 Outlook and will answer your questions live.

Rockcliff Metals Corp. (CSE:RCLF) – Three Resource Updates Completed in Snow Lake

Rockcliff Metals Corp. released an updated mineral resource estimate for its 100%-owned Rail deposit located in Snow Lake, Manitoba. This follows the mineral resource updates that the company previously released for its Talbot and Tower projects (Figure 1). We expect this news will bode well for the company as Rockcliff looks to move forward with a development decision at one of these projects (Q4/20). We believe there is significant potential for Rockcliff to extend known mineralized zones through its ongoing 70,000m drill program, as well as strong potential to make new discoveries at its Tower, Rail and Talbot deposits in addition to a suite of greenfield exploration assets.

We expect this news will bode well for the company as Rockcliff looks to move forward with a development decision at one of its Snow Lake projects (Q4/20). We believe there is significant potential for Rockcliff to extend known mineralized zones through its ongoing 100,000m drill program, as well as strong potential to make new discoveries at its Tower, Rail and Talbot deposits in addition to a suite of green field exploration assets.

Rockcliff Metals Corporation (CSE: RCLF) – Full Speed Ahead; Fast Track to Mine Development

Rockcliff provided an update on its strategic path forward as it aims to make a mine development decision on one of its Snow Lake projects (Rail, Talbot and Tower) in Q4/20. We’re very excited about Rockcliff’s future for several reasons. The company provides investors exposure to a significant 100,000m drill program in a politically stable and prospective greenstone belt with a 90-year history of mine discoveries, and all its properties are located near existing infrastructure.

Rockcliff Metals Corp (CSE:RCLF) – Armed and Dangerous

Impact: Positive

A new sheriff in town. Rockcliff has completed a transformational transaction involving Greenstone Resources II LP (“Greenstone”) and Norvista Capital Corporation (“Norvista”) which has injected ~C$29M into the restructured company’s coffers. As part of the deal, Rockcliff also acquired the Tower and Talbot projects, significantly de-risking its portfolio of base metal and gold assets in the Snow Lake Mining Camp in Manitoba. With cash in hand, Rockcliff is about to embark on an extensive 100,000m drilling program which we believe can expand existing resources and potentially lead to a discovery in the Snow Lake South Emerging Mining Camp (“SLSEMC”).
