Silver Viper Minerals Corp. (TSXV:VIPR) – Maiden Mineral Resource Estimate Released

Silver Viper Metals released an initial resource estimate from its 100%-owned La Virginia Au-Ag project in Sonora, Mexico. The resource estimate for five deposits along a 6.4km trend totals 48.9M AgEq or 0.7M oz AuEq (Figure 1). VIPR appears to be just scratching the surface of its large property package with the goal of discovering a new Au-Ag camp in an underexplored region located 220km E-NE of Hermosillo. While we consider the initial estimate a positive step, it is relatively small and low grade, and we believe it is not reflective of the property. We envision potential to increase grades given the high Au and Ag intercepts seen from recent drill results (read more). This early-stage project has all the hallmarks of hosting multiple low-sulphidation epithermal silver-gold deposits. These deposits can be complex, occur in complex settings and take some time to discover and fully understand. Volcanic-hosted vein style deposits can be small and hard to find, but host very high grades. Meanwhile disseminated deposits might be larger and lower grade.
